Or at the very least the author didn’t say “oh and drivers meetings and run groups and tire pressures are what everyone does at track days, so the FXX program isn’t that crazy!” Maybe I just missed that…

This sounds like any normal track day? Tech, driver’s meeting for rules, session 1, check pressures and inspect car, repeat repeat repeat, load up and go home.

It should work like my wife’s F10 5-series, which has a button on the top with a “P” on it that puts the car in park.
