I sort of like the sound of “Mr. Tromp”

This is the first time I’ve ever agreed with the TSA. Those flimsy locks are certainly “peace of mind” devices.

same here

What about the split screen stuff? I don’t follow Android, but is that native to most apps on Android tablets? I know Samsung had a proprietary system - did that get adopted by most apps you’d want to use?

just put them in an apple folder like everyone else

I think it’s all in the wrapping - leave a couple inches for strain relief before you start wrapping it around the legs.

AppleCare+ is actually $129 now for the new devices, so this totals up to ~648. So if you were going to get AppleCare+ then you should get the Apple installment plan, because it’s the same price.

on demand resourcing will become pretty standard for iOS 9 games I think - they can just load levels later, like the xbox does

You’re correct, I had the price wrong. Close enough to a wash that I’m just going to pay up front. Thanks. It’s a great deal if you want AppleCare+ though.

Dunno, the base iPhone 6s is $27/mo for 24 months, which is $648, and they’re $649 off contract.

I’ve been just buying them unlocked, but now I’m debating if the monthly payment is better because it apparently negates sales tax. What to do....

I thought that might be the case with the iPhone 6/6+ but it was their best selling phone ever, by a long shot.

Did Lifehacker take sales tax into account? I buy iPhones yearly and my unlocked 32GB iPhone 5S was $808 in California, which tacks another $5/mo onto the price, if that makes sense.

Not sure why it’s not sorted in ROYGBIV order.

trolling, right?

Maybe I’ll try that this year. Gazelle is just so easy, and they usually have a long lock-in price when the iPhones come out. I haven’t seen that this year so maybe I’ll try someone else.

I did the same math and determined buying a new iPhone every year cost about $200 per year, and I just sell them on Gazelle - I’m sure I could earn more with more frustration on CL or eBay. To me, always having the latest phone was worth that so I’ve been doing it since the 5S.

You can reach most of the push button ones from the passenger seat. Easier than a foot pedal at least.

I think the author is trolling us, or they just don’t remember life before Chrome.
