Bluetooth is also a good example. I think we all know that one system isn't the same as another. Some support your phone book, some support voice control, some don't stream music, and most of them sound like you're in a wind tunnel even when you're parked.

Edit: you know, on further review, I think iDrive is the best sat/nav. Not because it's in a luxury car, but because it's snappy and is the least annoying. And the integrated wheel in the center console is much better than some 3rd party head unit from Kenwood or whatever many mfgs use.

Doug, I ride in a lot of press cars and see this same thing. A related phenomenon is the luxury brands are having a hard time distinguishing themselves, e.g. Acura, who in my mind was traditionally known for having interesting tech (and better styling, performance, etc). Now that same tech is in the Honda counterpart,…

bad

well yeah, but it's on top of 2 pocket aces at the table. And, the players are talking about the possibility. For sure there is a slim chance of this happening and it happened, but it's still rough for Drinan.

EDIT: nevermind, I can't read

The Evo Recaros have insane bolsters for stock seats. They feel awesome when you're in them, I don't slide around at all. I've been in the GTR, but do not remember the seats like I do the Evo, so I am assuming they were not as memorably excellent.

Do you have a link to a dyno? Would love to see the curve w/ the IC.

This is not necessarily true. Projected on the shield wouldn't have to be the same focal distance too - your eyes aren't focused on the shield when you're riding. They would just need to focus it at infinity and it should be close enough for most situations.

Checked my iPad last night - 70k. haha I suck

What's your best score?

I think when you see the whole car it looks good. It's a shock but we'll get used to it.

I was trying to talk about things like this, albeit with poorly chosen words. All I was trying to point out is that planes that look like P-51s may in fact be replicas at a scaled size. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry, I was referring to pylon racing in general.

Many P-51 lookalikes are used in air racing, like the pylon racing you see Red Bull now competing in. I think they're usually 4/5ths scale.

I had a press car for a weekend. It was definitely a 1st gen product. It felt heavy (because it was). The interior layout was a bit of a mess too.

Even from the N64 days I thought you always just watch Lakitu's hand.

Didn't the Venza introduce auto-highbeam-disable for oncoming traffic? I don't see how that's different. Can't MBZ just add a highbeam/lowbeam setting and call it done?

yup, nobody in Santa Barbara saw that game last night. so crap.
