Autofocus will be slower I think. But it's clearly a camera that is making compromises to save size and weight. You make similar compromises choosing a larger camera.

I've only been racing once, and it was at big willow. I did 1:43 on all season tires in my WRX. I'm going back soon and hope to do better.

not a fan of capacitive touch glove box and dome lights, mostly because they seem to malfunction a lot, and really, what's the point?

Meh, the lock/close combo button on larger (and already heavy) cars is pretty useful.

Also terrible is how none of the manufacturers have standardized if you push the flapper in to engage the brake or pull it, which makes every rental even crappier.

@theprettygoodgatsby don't think you understand, it would only say Delivered on the sender's phone. The sender is trying to trick the receiver.

Interesting. I just figured it'd be tough the first time. I know my first time at the track it surprised me how bad my mileage was (not that I expected good mileage though), and it was handy to have a gas station nearby.

This is cool - we saw a Model S at Big Willow a few months back. But really in a HSPE like this you're mostly seeing driver ability. It's routine to see awesome cars get overtaken by good drivers.

I actually sort of like the new Panamera keys that look like the car. Cheesy, but at least not boring.

I want a 5s on AT&T off contract (don't want to renew). No option to do online at midnight, so I called Apple today, and they don't offer unlocked yet.

I beg to differ. I follow the crowd for a good reason - because if I have an issue with my phone, then a lot of other people are also having an issue. Hardware and software is never perfect. How often do random Samsung/LG/HTC/Moto/whatever Android issues become front page news, compared to iPhone issues? If bugs crop

This article has a few other typos as well - "bases" instead of "basis", "on" instead of "only". Looks like they skipped the editor for the Friday afternoon push.

I consider myself a Jalop, and I just bought a new '13 WRX hatch. I loved my '05 WRX Sedan for 8+ years, and wanted something I could fit more stuff in, so I just bought another WRX. It hurts that it's essentially the same car, but it's still awesome, and has always been dependable for mountain biking, snowboarding,

"strangle little structures" -> *strange

yeah, that's why I've been holding onto my Kindle 4 (non-touch). You can turn pages without moving your fingers - it's great.

I've been snowboarding for 20+ years, go quite a bit, am not reckless, and still enjoy helmet speakers at a low volume. I can get them to a level where they just sound like external speakers at the park. I go fast, safely, and have never collided with anyone with or without music on.

There's a DARPA initiative to push IR sensors down to cell phones for military use, so that soldiers will always have night vision on them (with government issued phones). I think it's interesting, but will be power hungry and bulky for a ways to come.

That Forbes article is pretty terrible - it's just a big whine that would only really resonate with a person who's never owned a car before. I'm sure his article will have the desired effect of getting him a new car though, so good for him =/

Why would the iPhone 5 go away? Would make more sense if the 4S goes away and the budget entry slips into the current iPhone 4 slot. Is this what you meant to say? I would think they'd want everything on Lightning now, instead of in the future. Why keep the 4S around?
