yeah but this is the first 2wd subaru to come out in quite a while. even the "small cars" are awd. so not sure what they mean by "both companies"

yep, a prize for operating a vehicle under the influence. you win.

sure sounds like a placebo to me. still a pretty good idea though if it "works" for her :)

very cool

They are huge. I took a picture of the rear tires, and they're 295/30 20s. So that's 20" wheels @ ~11.6" wide. Huuuge.

I think my friend worked on the research for this at LLL for his thesis, and is now supporting built units for Siemens in Germany. So I'm pretty sure they already exist, just maybe not in the states. Siemens had huge issues with government subsidized health care in Germany though, so I believe the project was killed

Apparently they have a track set up at an airport near Santa Maria, so they do some of their events up there. They stay at the Biltmore or somewhere else on Cabrillo. So I'm sure the photographers grab shots in SB, which is obviously more picturesque than an abandoned airport in Santa Maria ;)

yeah, why show screenshots of the interface instead of the final output? I don't get it either.

How can you say "data prices [are] just a little bit better" when they're all clearly higher, and the minimum barrier to entry just went up $5? I understand the price/MB is a slightly better ratio, but the plans all cost more now. Most people will end up sticking with the same plan (they won't change), which will mean

agreed

This was pretty big news in the area - both North and Southbound were closed on the freeway, causing some major traffic, because we only have one alternate route. Obviously, some discomfort for commuters pales in comparison to the drivers in the accident. I'm just interested to see it mentioned here.
