Claremont's run on X-Men is legendary, but Peter David's run on Incredible Hulk is my personal favorite. The first comic I ever bought was one of his and I was immediately hooked into the hobby.
It’s a tough, tough call, but I would have to go with Peter David’s run on The Incredible Hulk as having not only a huge quantity of work, but which redefined a long-established character in a way that was astonishing for newsstand comics at the time.
