NV has been incredibly unstable on multiple systems for me even with all the unofficial patches installed - NV was awful at launch on pretty much all systems so that’s a strange comparison to make in regards to FO76, it probably had the worst launch of the SP games in terms of bugginess. It’s a spinoff, and clearly not part of the main series - at the very least it was never going to be like the SP games. By that logic Interplay didn’t understand the IP either, because they published developed two spin offs that went against the grain and quality of the first two titles.

Honestly if that game had a bigger world (& budget I guess), and maybe dialed the time thing back a bit, it’d be one of my favourite games of all time.
