And that’s fine! I can only speak for myself obviously.

Despite me not really liking that game, he does a decent job, but he’s no Hamill. That being said, I thought his Two-Face was great, even if it was still pretty close (again) to his normal voice. But yet again, normal voice for Batman in the Tell Tale games. He has the range and technique obviously, my problem is that

I made no comment on his range, because I actually really like it when he goes out of his comfort zone (Joel is one of my favourite performances in a game to date), but the way he IS utilised, makes the characters kind of blend in with another. How he sounds in that trailer, it may as well have been Yuri from Tales of

I don’t think it’s necessarily true that the skills he has a game director would translate well to movie-making. Two completely different worlds, and two completely different audiences.

Other than Joel in Last of Us, Baker’s performances pretty much all sound the same. That’s no criticism to his performances, but as soon as I heard his voice here, I heard every other role he’s done in the last 5 or 6 years, and it took me straight out of the moment.

Prove it!

If you don’t “win” anything, then you’ve ‘failed’ surely? He was playing for a mediocre team and got a mediocre output - if that’s success for you then I apologise. And don’t give me that “top 4" nonsense, it hasn’t stopped the likes of Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Hull and Wigan (who went on to win the FA Cup)

Sorry, what he did he win? On average he had one goal every four matches - that’s a poor return for a forward. He won no titles either. I’m not sure what your metric for success is, but that fails mine.

No titles, and 57 goals in 218 apps is a poor, bordering average record for a forward. Hardly a ‘success’.

Lovely.

Honestly, even though I’ve disagreed with you, I’ve appreciated the points you’ve brought up, but you’re skewing absolutely everything I say to suit your narrative. I’ll let you have the last word there, because frankly I think I’m wasting my time keeping this going. And by the by, if you actually want a proper

Joke’s on you, now you’re the offended one ;)

No, thats not true at all. You are against people being upset at said behavior. In fact you’ve now written no less than 3 posts expressing this point. And you’ve said its harmless. Sure you may not partake of such humor, or enjoy it, you are quite against anyone finding it offensive.

When you’re being as overdramatic as that, you’re not really inviting any possibility of nuance to a conversation/debate someone might want to have with you about this subject.

I’m not missing the point, I understand what the author is trying to get at, and I’m giving my take on it. I don’t see it the same way as the author, and I think they are drawing blood from a stone, hence the points I’ve been making.

Fair enough!

I don’t see it like that. The intent was clear, it’s stupid and should be dismissed by anyone with half a brain. It’s okay to laugh at dumb shit. You can frame absolutely any sexual joke and make it offensive if you want to. Doesn’t mean you should.

Also, what kind of attitude is that to have to your audience? Comes across as “I’m right, and if you disagree with me, you’re a dick”. Implying that anyone who disagrees with your article is a “toxic gamer” is a little much, isn’t it?

It’s because the connotations of said dick depend on:
