Oprah is a shameless opportunist and it is about time she was called out for it. She preys on society’s most vulnerable members and feeds them consumerist pablum as way to ‘fix’ their problems.

“The sign says Three Commas Club Only, sir.”

“Are you a time traveler who sold a dinky streaming service for $6 billion during the tech frenzy and then made super-prudent, diversifying investments before the bubble burst?”

I think Mark’s Cuban, though.

He didn’t attend his grandfather’s funeral—the same grandfather he once called before every game.

Average player with extraordinary hustle. Made the most of limited talent, and benefitted greatly from a dearth of NBA Center talent during his prime years.

I’ve watched like 4 NFL games in the last 3 years...so I’m no shill/fanboi.

But NFL players beat their wives/girlfriends at roughly the national rate. I don’t say this to excuse them, but to do 2 things.

Paterno probably could have avoided the injury had he not been too busy looking the other way.
