That was 10 years ago and a lot has happened since then but I used to work at Funcom back when they had an office in Montreal and I’ve seen a lot of people starting in QA then move on to game design or the art department. Heck, one even became my Art Producer after a few months.

When I hear all the horror stories in

Oh, I totally get some cases, like for digital art pieces (definitely not ape jpgs, though xD) which would allow the artist to keep getting a cut every time that particular NFT is sold.
It’s just that there are a lot of people trying to sell that tech for video game stuff, talking about cross game reusability and such,

Work hard for an item in one game, use it across multiple games.”

Wasn’t there a mod that disabled GFWL that came out like two days after release ? I’m pretty sure I got rid of it very early on...

I tried the demo for Death Trash a couple of months ago and it was really good. I didn’t know it was coming this soon, that’s cool.

I’m all for most games available on most platforms but here I really have to ask : how would you play epistory on a switch ? the whole point of the game is typing words on a keyboard. is that going to be through a virtual one that takes up half the screenspace ? That’d be a visual treat...

Although the brick separator is $2.49, so if your kids are big LEGO fans, it might be a worthwhile investmen.

Or don’t, every other LEGO set comes with one included, nowadays. Talk about a waste of plastic. I have like 50 of them collecting dust in a bin, which is about 48 more than I need xD

I wish LEGO would provide

but... What if you come from the OTHER way and need to go back ? xD

You know, there is ONE feature that was in Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance on the GBA I wish had become a standard for ALL games you can only save at specific save points separated by hours of gameplay (IE most/every JRPGs but not only) : a “Save & Quit” option where the game takes a snapshot of where you are and

That’s where things get confusing for me and I honestly don’t know where I stand on the issue. First, Doug Cockles has been the voice actor for Geralt through every Witcher games, including 3. So basically, to make this mod, the creator reused arts, animations and voice samples from the game to create a mod for that

Now playing

She’s much more mainstream on the French-speaking side of the world but Coeur de Pirate did the whole (eerily beautiful) OST of Child of Light.

please, keep going ^^

but... The trees don’t sway back and forth, they sway in one direction and then straight up then back in that direction. (Granted, it took me a few minutes to realise that, but still...)

I loved every minute of that game. I can’t say I found it difficult at all but everything was just too cute and feel-good (bear hug !)

Is that really Eurojank ? I though this particular genre of releasing a broken game weirdly defended to the death by its fans had been invented by Bethesda ?

Anyone knows ifChronos : Before the Ashes” is related in some way to “Remnants : From the Ashes” beyond both being from Gunfire Games ? Is it a pancake edition of the Oculus Rift exclusive or are they opening it to more VR platform ?

you can but if Steam then decides you haven’t purchased the game, as was the case with this glitch, then good luck installing your official backup...

Haven’t played Gone Home yet but I have to give a shout out to HoB (also free on Epic). It’s a fantastic gem that sadly flew under the radar when it came out.

that store is all well and good (I’m on the wait and see wagon but so far I like what I hear) but is noone going to point out the surprise apparition of Journey on a different platform than Sony’s ? Wasn’t that game published by Sony as a part of a 3-pack deal with Thatgamecompany ? I love that I might finally get rid

There isn’t much else to do per se but to me, taking the time to explore the land just for the sake of it was a good 50% of the experience if not more. Its vastness and desolation just kept adding layers upon layers of solitude on the Wanderer and his lone task and I felt it gave some high level of contemplation on

Ghost of a Tale is coming out of Early Access on March 13th !!
That is the one I’ve been most looking forward to for quite some time, now. Anyone with a Redwall itch should check it out.
