After much delay since part 2, I bring you part 3 (and unfortunately probably the last) of the series. I think we’ve run out of makes/models that come and go vs. what Tomica has produced over the years. Enjoy.

While not a Tomica product, this has been making its rounds on Tomica collector pages recently, due to the fact that it lends itself nicely to Tomica’s Initial D cars. I finally got my hands on one.

You have a first world problem when you’re struggling to figure out what Tomica to put in your official store display case. :P

So I recently scored this Tomica Jaguar XJ-S racing at a very reasonable price on ebay:

While the quality of modern-day Tomica cannot be compared to those of the yesteryear, one long-standing and unique aspect of Tomica (compared to other contemporary manufacturers) is that you can find a lot of bread-and-butter cars in the lineup.

I used to be able to remember exactly what I have in my collection. However, I’ve clearly aged, in that I totally forgot about this unremarkable piece in my collection, until I recently saw a familiar looking post on ebay...
