Mine is now over 32GB. I was using the 4GB as a figure as that was the size of the MP3 player back in the day.

This HP debarcle still confuses me. Is this some sorta New Coke marketing scheme? Are they waiting for a public outcry to bring back HP printers and PCs. It just doesn't make sense!

I had a Sonic Stage walkman. The NWS700, which had the best sound quality out of the box I've ever experienced with any MP3 player. I still wish it was drag and drop as I had to leave it as Macs are not compatible with sonicstage. combined with the fact my music library is now over 4GB. Maybe one day I'll leave Apple

The days of Sonic Stage have long gone. From what I've heard from my Walkman only Friends (ok, friend) it is pretty much drag and drop but speaks happy with Windows Media Player and other drag 'n' drop managers. I'm sure an Android walkman will be even more open.

and Vice-versa

Does anyone remember the days when there was a Gizmodo UK and it's articles were poor, comments on an article were in single figures. Hopefully this won't happen. Also I don't want to leave the excellent commenters that live here, so unsure what to do. Oh here's an archived page of the old Gizmodo UK [web.archive.org]

Not to forget the cut scenes in Friends.

Or maybe he wasn't responding to ground control as he was busy shooting up in his spaceship. Only Bowie knows....

Who said Major Tom is dead? "We know Major Tom's a junkie"

I never knew you could see street and place names and bus stops in satellite photos! #corrections?

Maybe something to do with the Vaio P? It has a similar form factor I guess. [gizmodo.com]

No. Seriously. Since redesign-gate I felt the morals, posts for fun not just page views and general humour had gone from the site. But this post combined with that funny wtf? Baseball bat post is winning me back. I'm not saying that Giz is like how it used to but this is a step in the right direction.

Gizmodo, you are slowly restoring my faith in you not only as a mostly moral news blog. But also as a trusted and respected tech news blog, who are not forced by Gawker to post anything for page views.

I like how Gadaffi's hat appears twice. Congrats on the most fun post on Gizmodo in a while.

I guess the argument is that a person that is employed by a company could only patent an idea thanks to the resources provided by the company. Maybe there should be some shared ownership or transference of ownership with patents.

fair enough. But without that it would be much harder to swap between OSes (although I guess it is arguable that Windows may have not been as big with out that GUI)

Here's my 2 pennys worth. I think it is fine for Apple to protect its intellectual property. Everyone should be able to do that. However, I feel somethings are not for patenting. Like gestures, or methods of unlocking a phone. I feel a parallel in a pre-touch screen era would be if someone patented buttons on phones

He's zooming out of his beard.

It took me ages! which made it all the more devastating.

I managed to get it to run once (somehow) but then it sorta glitched out and wouldn't let me save! I was on 4 stars too!
