I guess Nintendo doesn’t like money. They’d rather build a product that’s much more expensive and won’t make nearly as much revenue (the switch).

If you want to spend $500 on a router, you shouldn’t waste it on a consumer-grade router. Build one using server-grade components (e.g. SuperMicro Atom C2758 mini-ITX board) and run commercial-grade router software on it like pfSense. Then, get a cheap access-point for wireless running DD-WRT or OpenWRT.

LOL. People are still trying to make vehicles that are the worst of both worlds?

Yeah whatever... “security researchers”... lol

Exactly. I don’t know how anyone can like it. I was shocked to learn that some consider it a classic. It was terrible when it came out, not remotely scary and it’s still terrible today.

Easy solution: don’t use them. Nobody posts anything of value on social media accounts and nobody cares what anybody else has to say (e.g. nobody cares what you had for breakfast, what your dinner looks like, what your baby looks like or is doing, etc).

I can’t wait to hear how Trump will, during his reelection campaign, explain why his policies didn’t bring back any coal jobs. I’m sure it’ll be the democrats fault somehow.

Some folks think automated trucking will happen in 5 years... LOL. That technology will be perfected the same day we have flying cars.... so I guess in only 2 years.

I take it you don’t have any Trump supporters in your family? The worse he gets, the more his supporters back him up.

Gotta love it when reviewers try to compare the Switch’s performance capabilities to a stand alone console like the PS4 and XB1. It’s a hybrid device, not a stand alone console. When you look at it from that perspective, it’s not underpowered at all.

No point paying money for these types of things anymore when there are lots of smartphone apps that do the same thing and more for free.

This is a very common question and one of the most common ones I got as an airline pilot (other ones being why we don’t have guns in the cockpit and why there aren’t parachutes on the planes). Do you think you could design a mesh that’s both strong enough to withstand a bird strike at 500 MPH while at the same time

I used to be an airline pilot and on more than one occasion I’ve run into situations where the previous crew forgot to turn off one of the engines and you’d have no idea by the sound alone (ramps are loud as hell). If it weren’t for those swirls, it could be very hard to tell the difference between a running engine

Am I the only one who just thinks this guy wasted 94 days of his life doing something pointless? I view things like this no differently than the guy who rode a bicycle across the US while doing a wheelie.

There’s nothing wrong with loving The Wizard. Lots of adults that grew up playing the NES have fond memories of that movie.

People are blowing things out of proportion. If you want it, get it. If you want to wait, that’s fine too. Just keep in mind that you’ll be waiting at least 2 or 3 years for a version 2.0. This kind of thing happens with every console launch.

Being able to conveniently dock the switch on different TVs is something a bet a lot of people will want to do, especially those with families. One of the first things I looked up when I got my Switch was how much a second dock cost (and no I’m not paying $90 for it). It’s not about being too lazy. Constantly

There are 3 huge problems with this show now and I think everyone knows what they are. It’s just not the same without the real top gear hosts.

Recording live TV... how archaic.
