You just have to watch Top Gear to realize that their not entirely metric on the other side of the pond. They’re routinely mix metric and imperial units in the same sentence (e.g. “top speed of x km/h and gets y mpg”).
I’m certainly no fan of Trump and I do think the speech was plagiarized but this is just B.S. Sure, there are tons of words in the english language but there are only so many that are used in political speeches like this and it’s common for certain words to be strung together for certain phrases.
