Most sex workers do not like ‘prostitute’, at least that was the case when I was doing my research into policy. You’re going to find a variety of levels of dislike for specific terms and some want to reclaim certain words, too.
It doesn’t address the exact things found in lilac’s statements, but you can find similar sentiments echoed in a lot of research. Stigma and agency are hot topics within this area, and not all research and policy approaches are in sympatico, especially on the agency front.

I agree. I LOVE him as Ren. He’s less ‘pretty’ than Christensen, but he actually can carry the emotional moments and physically he is intimidating. There’s more chemistry between him and Rey than there was in the entirety of the prequels between Portman and Christensen.
