Last week in Tennessee the gop shoved forced burial or cremation (at the patients expense) of any tissue removed from an abortion. I heard the senate vote session and one of the sponsors (Janice Bowling) said the bill should pass because “we’ve all seen how abortion affects women in the movies”

The county I live in has a daily wait list. I email every day and if they have extra doses left they’ll pick random emails and call those folks. You have to drop what you’re doing and get to the vaccination site within 30 minutes of getting the call. They only call as many people as they have leftover doses in a vial.

Hell, I have decent health insurance now and I’m STILL better off going to PP for anything gyno related. But i’m also in the south and walked out of a gyno appointment because she didn’t want to give me an IUD without knowing my husband is OK with it. 

I lived in the bay area for ten years, but now that I moved to Nashville I tell people I’m from the Midwest state I lived in before I lived in CA. I realized pretty quick that most folks down here don’t love hearing that another person from the Bay Area moved in next door. 

i’ve been smoking way more of the substance that is legal in your state but not in mine as well. I’ve never been able to mix it with alcohol, but i appreciate that I don’t wake up hungover.

our gov signed that law earlier this year. it allows religious adoption agencies to discriminate based on sexuality of the folks trying to adopt.

TN is a fucking mess right now. Our gov won’t do a mask mandate because “people have the right to decide what’s best for their own health” (unless you need reproductive healthcare of course). And I won’t get started on Blackburn.
