@potatojenkins: When Starcraft first came out it required a pretty solid machine. I had to eagerly wait for my oldest step brother to build a machine before I could see more of the game then the cover. Over ten years the machines got better and now it plays on pretty much all machines. The same will happen with

@styfle: Sure could. If the content of the video breaks Facebook rules they might take it down but you shouldn't need to worry about image usage rights for the people in it.

@Future Retro: Kinda looks like they are trying to get an interesting ballet shot for a yearbook or admissions thing.

@styfle: Only for commercial work. If it's just home video or news footage you don't need permission.

Mothra is coming. Hope the japanese didn't kill off Godzilla.

@NICU: Well, IV's Myhrvold did used to be Microsofts CTO. Maybe it's a personal contest.

@JDickson87: I think the whole thing needs an overhaul. Pretty much about the time they made it alright to patent living things was when they went to shit.

@Arbron: The problem is that Patents shouldn't have been given out for a lot of those things. "...a new technology must be non-obvious..." being the main part of patent rule they are forgetting. Showing people things that are like what they are already looking at is pretty freaking obvious. Grocery stores alone have

@iansilv: Do some more research on recent changes to Patent law and you might think differently. For example starting a few years back it became possible to "patent" a living organism or even just part of a living organism.

@Illua: It's true. Check out the winners at international brew competitions. American breweries are taking loads of the top honors. Everybody just associates American beers with Budwieser and while they sell a lot(Ok more than a lot) there are loads of really really good beers here that rarely make it out of their

@Mark Trbojevic: Screw Portland, stick to Seattle. ;-) Love me some Maritime Pacific.

I love that you busted out skosh. I use this word all the friggin' time and I always get weird looks.

@NaraVara: The term crap, used to mean fecal matter, was around before Crapper and his toilets. Though you are probably right that it helped spread the term as a euphemism with the word "Crapper" placed on the toilets.

@KLanD: My comment was directed directly to blyan's comment about Apple not being worried about SurfaceInk selling to the consumer. I was merely pointing out that they wouldn't have sold to a consumer they would have sold to a direct competitor which is what Apple worried about.

@parker: Not quite. The Pilot isn't on any of them. Last I checked Hulu listed episode 2 as the first episode and just never mention the pilot episode that explains everything. Netflix mentions it but explains that it is available by disk only. With episode 2 on available for streaming. This whole situation has

@NinjaTaco: Then Netflix wins hands down. They've got tons of Mythbusters, No Reservations and the like available to stream right now.

@Michael Interbartolo III: There have been several shows that they do keep up the current season of for streaming on Netflix. They come down a month or so after the season ends though.

@supertiroles: Oh, you are talking about graphics cards. Yeah those are definitely not from the last ten. I'd also say that video tech in general has come a long way not just the limited sub-section of that that graphics cards occupy.

@Rick Lyon: I'm pretty sure you are missing the point of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Or perhaps you live in England and then your comment makes perfect sense.
