This seems more like a temporary workaround than anything because aren’t all credit card readers in the US going to be required to have chips soon? There are already a few places where if I swipe my credit card, the machine yells at me stating that it has a chip and so you need to insert it into the chip reader thing.

And this why I am not bringing my kid into the city until he is old enough that he can walk down the stairs, at least with help. How people travel with young babies in the subway is beyond me

This actually seems terrible to me. I have 6gb of data a month. Does this mean I can be streaming a movie on what I think is wifi when I am really eating through my data plan and don't even know it?

Thanks! And yeah our lives totally changed and it’s totally worth it. I mean last weekend I woke up at 6am. On a Saturday. And I didn’t care. Weird.

There’s a difference between knowing it on a high level and knowing details about it. Especially to a teenager...

Yeah my son was adopted... (my wife and I both had medical issues that would make it hard to get her pregnant plus a high chance of birth defect.. not worth it)... it is SO much stress and so insanely expensive- after the four attorneys, staying in a hotel for a month, out of network doctors, advertising, agency

It will be bad when your daughter figures that out. Luckily I didn’t really think about 9/25 minus 9 months until I was in my 20’s. If I was a teenager, that would have just been... awful. There are some parts of my parents’ lives I don’t need to know about. It was bad enough when I figured out the “massager” under my

Yeah. My birthday is 9/25. And I'm Jewish. There wasn't much to do on Christmas in the 80s if you were Jewish... The only thing open were movies, Chinese food and apparently legs

I know this sounds silly but ask your parents. They want you to be happy, and probably want to be grandparents one day lol. It could be something they would cover for you if you asked them

I actually had way better luck on pay sites like match.com. And the reason is simple- okc and PoF are free, so you get a lot of people who are curious about the whole online dating thing and who is out there, as well as horny guys looking for sex.

That’s nothing. The entire town I live in was moved in the 1890’s. Basically NYC needed more water and decided to fill in the basin where the town was located to make a reservoir. Two towns were abandoned, but one had every building moved, one by one.. about 50 in all. Even trees were moved. The buildings that were

Ha. Westchester ain’t much better than Long Island. Though Westchester has like, hills and stuff to block the signal from the Empire State Building. LI is practically flat

Can we give one to this guy/gal?

I’m aware it's not ideal, But if I find a single sock that didn’t make it into the machine, I’ll throw it in.

Sure, we’ll go with that.

On american models when you hit pause, the spinning stops, the water drains, and then the door unlocks.

It does seem this is more efficient- if you pause mid-rinse, all water needs to drain out of the tub before unlocking which seems like a huge waste of water. Though I really don’t think the extra cost of this washer really makes up for this efficiency thing

So this is just an emblem and not a flag, but I’m just going to leave this here. This is the emblem of Whitesboro, NY.

That kind of reminds me of Kimball’s partner in Kindergarten Cop... At least you made it to the classroom though!

Actually beer DOES come in plastic bottles at sporting events. Of course, it’s normally Budweiser, Coors. Miller, etc that if it get’s a little worse, no one notices anyway.
