Iceland is amazing. I found that a flight from London to Iceland to NY was $200 a person cheaper than London to NY direct... so that $400 on two tickets paid for two nights at a hotel outside Keflavik and we did the short golden circle tour and Blue Lagoon... it is so incredible there. And Reykjavik is really nice

yeah. you can also turn on tethering on your phone with security enabled to see if wifi was turned on the iPad and automatically connects to open networks. Total shot in the dark.

It would apply to iPads also, however there is less of a chance of it working because the iPad would have to be connected to the internet for this to work... and unless LTE is enabled on the iPad, it would have to be unlocked to turn on and choose a wifi network... something that can't be done without the owner.

This is not as large scale but I love the size of the icicles created when the Bryant Park fountain in NYC was left on a little too late into the winter season a few years ago...

whoops mean't to share on main post and can't figure out how to delete this post

I used to play Burnout on the N64 and GameCube a lot and I remember having to stop because when actually driving my instinct was always drive on the wrong side of the road to build up extra points and get lots of near misses. Haven't played that game since to save my life

I kind of want that lube to use on a slip and slide this summer... Make it totally more dangerous.. I mean, amazing

This photo reminds me of the George Carlin album cover...

The laserjet with a fax and document feeder is also on sale for $100 off and $50 rebate...

Yes, but if chip & pin takes over, like it should over the next few years (and hopefully sooner!), then it still wouldn't be possible to buy credit card numbers... that is assuming I am understanding chip & pin correctly.

I just used it at Shoprite today

did any punted footballs hit the catwalks at good ole Tropicana? That would have been fun to see.

They actually do consider any train under 6 minutes late on time. And my train is usually later than that.

Yeah I remember that. Like a giant version of one of those 1960's alarm clocks. The digital boards aren't the same.

Yep, I have the same thing... my home station access point is the back door (when going home) of the 6th car. The good news is in Grand Central, no one usually walks that far- the back cars closest to the terminal are packed, the front cars are usually pretty empty, comparatively.

Yeah, after a Yankee Game, Yankees-E 153rd street station is exactly the same way. Luckily I go to enough games (hence my user name) to know what platform my train will always be on so I can cheat a bit.

Yeah, all platforms are handicapped accessible due to elevator access (although the ramps for the platforms in the Biltmore room- tracks 35ish and higher- are pretty damn steep for a wheelchair). I know it is not a perfect comparison since as you said the stairs go down by the 3rd car, but it is the closest to the

I hate to break it to you, but after East Side Access is done, this is probably going to happen, canceling out the extra tracks available for LIRR...

5 mins before is actually BEST case scenario with LIRR, at least during the week. It's not LIRR's fault... there just aren't enough tracks in Penn Station.

Yeah, agreed... but my guess is it still would have cost close to $750 with consumer release... at least the first version... just due to the fact that it is the "first of it's kind" with no real competition, and there isn't a reach ecosystem of apps like Google has with Android phones... where they get a cut of
