I know. But there are hundreds of nfl players and with the demand for this game being SO huge, you give all of the thousands of sponsors who give the nfl millions of dollars a year the good seats, save some seats for the fans willing to pay a few thousand a seat, and then what is left?

The guy got free tickets to the Super Bowl. Tickets on stubhub were starting around $1,600 for seats worse than that. I would take those seats in a heartbeat. Stop complaining.

Good ole nj transit. Of all of the major transportation options into and out of NYC, NJ transit is the worst, and that even includes the miserable year Metro North had. So many parts of nj don't even have reliable train service and need to use a bus.

And husbands ;-)

Cinemax is still pretty damn popular for their late night stuff...

Thanks for letting me know about Stanziato's! Regarding Ted's.. Their burgers are just okay but I think their steamed plain cheese and steamed hot dog is better...

They did realize you can turn off in app purchases right? Apparently not...

As an Islander fan, I can say it's worth it... While it sucks spending the money now, you do not want to deal with the unknowns of the team possibly moving away and who knows where. The Red Wings is such a big part of the city of Detroit, to have a chance of them moving to Seattle or Quebec or something would be

Yeah especially last week of the month- cops are bad on the Saw Mill and Taconic... too bad too because northern part of the Saw Mill after it splits off from the Sprain is such a fun drive if you hit the lights right (ha)

I was at the game and that was EXACTLY what I did :-)... luckily I was the one of the only ones who thought of it so was able to get a car. The stressful part was after I got the car to get out of that crowd and to the meeting point before the car got there.

Great article. My favorite hockey memories will always be from Nassau Coliseum. I remember there was a blizzard one day and because I lived so close to the arena, we decided to go to the game. The PA announcer said we could sit where-ever we wanted and I ended up with front row seats right next to the Islander

I have a bad back and can't run because it's too high impact- does it work with walking for ~30-45 mins also?

In Hartford you can get steamed cheeseburgers... sooo good!

Craziness. Next time I go to Europe I think I need to pack a bottle of ketchup in my luggage... not that I plan on eating Mcdonald's much there

yes but i think one of the perks of Spotify, Pandora, etc is that you can have a ton of music without taking up memory. The trade off is a possible subscription cost, but it allows you to save money on the iPhone, or download way more apps or movies. Paying for Spotify to download music sort of seems like the worst

I think Spotify (and iTunes Match)'s usefulness depends on your data plan. Have unlimited data? Go for it! Get a 16gb phone and with the money saved stream your music. I am on the Share Everything plan with my wife, which saves us $20 a month on what Verizon's unlimited data plan used to cost, but all music needs

Christmas for non-christians is like the most boring day of the year- the only things open are the movies and Chinese restaurants.

If you have a sleep schedule set in the energy saver settings, would this override those settings or visa-versa?

Ha... funny that you mention the Yankees and Mets in here as my dad always had this radio to listen to WFAN (Met games) when I dragged him to Yankee Stadium for a Yankee game. When he broke it, he looked all over for it in stores before finally finding it on Amazon. I'm pretty sure it's this radio that showed him

I've also read (I think on here or lifehacker actually) that if you are on OS X or iOS, prices are higher than if you use Windows, especially for things like airline tickets. The reason being if you can afford a luxury like an iPad or Macbook, then you can afford a more expensive plane ticket.
