When the Seahawks won the Superbowl the following morning news had a story on how many people were jaywalking. Seattle is so lame.

If it is a physical addiction it is extremely dangerous to quit cold turkey. Please don’t to suddenly quit if you are a heavy drinker, seek medical advice first.
Or, this is the perfect week to email someone if you never want to hear back from them, but you need to prove you contacted them.
“Somehow, a new player-created holiday became a story about conflict, betrayal and the disappearance of an entire civilization.”
So, they invented Thanksgiving?
I LOVE this game. LOVE IT! But... I think these groups of people are grossly overestimating what it is they’re doing. War? Maybe small acts of “Space Vandalism”. :D
“Peace is boring”
Clearly defined in the same way the instructions to the Holy Handgrenade are clearly defined.
You keep saying “complete control” as if you’ve defined it. As far as I can tell, “complete control” is whatever you (or some random official) think it is? You can understand why some people might not be comfortable with that level of specificity, right? And that that discomfort was the reason for the rule change? And…
Not in the NFL they don’t. Not anymore. And it wasn’t that long ago that people were enraged by NFL officials on a weekly basis because of subjective calls. SO the league did something about it, and now you almost never hear anything about individual officials because expanded replay and specificity in the rules has…
This is getting ridiculous. Just argue that the rule should be changed, not that it’s being misinterpreted. The rule has been applied like this repeatedly for years now. This isn’t constitutional law or something, the only interpretation that matters is the NFL’s. Their position is crystal clear.
It’s adding ONE additional requirement which doesn’t seem like that obtuse of one at that. I guess you can argue you don’t like it because you want to see more catches and more fumbles. I don’t think there’s much sense in arguing a personal opinion like that. But I honestly don’t see why this is more onerous a rule…
You’re a stupid rule.
he doesn’t survive the ground. that was pretty clear. to complete a catch, especially when the player is going to the ground in the act of catching the ball, the player has to maintain possession through impact the ground. we can debate the validity of that rule, but within the confines of the rule, he very obviously…
This seems like a horrible metric for anything.
I don’t get the hand wringing on this thing anymore. It’s actually a very clear rule and has been enforced perfectly consistently for years now. Every team has had it go against them on a big play at least once. You have to have control of the ball all the way to the ground. They put the rule in there exactly so there…
“The receiving player must maintain full control of the ball from the initial point of contact all the way through CTE diagnosis.”
Obviously the blue part here is the land.
Sorta sounds like he got arrested for being obnoxious and provocative, which shouldn’t be cause for arrest.
He’s an asshole, but I’m not okay with cops who arrest people for disrespecting them.
The environmental impact study linked above is actually a USFS Environmental Assessment (EA). EA is like a paper study with a lot of assumptions and taking folks at their word. USFS started an EIS after legal challenges. I believe it remains in draft.
