You may despise the singular they for whatever reason you want, whether it's because you are the kind of person who exclusively uses perfectly logical grammar constructs (good luck speaking English), because you are a disagreeable pedant, or because you are just bored.

Basically, EVE is a gorgeous game, but by nature it rewards very…optimized play. The result is that in actual gameplay, you can choose between 1. success and 2. shiny. Most players opt for a data-heavy zoomed out view for combat, which makes the game's beautiful visuals somewhat pointless.

What you say about psychological studies is true, but it does not necessarily support the point you think it does.

It's not as simple as the theoretical return on a theoretical financial instrument. Higher returns are associated with higher risk. The more financial cushion an investor has, the more readily he or she can justify investing in high risk markets. In fact, the wealthy realize a higher return on investment than the

Introducing negativity into an interaction almost never serves a productive purpose. People are more likely to be receptive to advice when they do not feel antagonized.

I didn't find a single moment in that trailer to be funny.

I think the thing that looks least good about this movie is that it is not nearly lighthearted enough for its subject matter. It seems to take itself too seriously, and looks like it tries too hard to be cool.

While there are certainly some very fanciful creations (especially ones involving massive pedestrian bridges), most of Timboh's interchanges are (at least in terms of connectivity) reasonably

It's more about trying to reproduce the functional connections of real world interchanges than the visual form, because the in-game tools severely limit the ability to do the latter.

The fact remains the colleges have built a monstrous profit-making enterprise around these supposedly amateur athletes. The administrators and coaches have left themselves without a leg to stand on, because they sold their last leg to ESPN for $2 billion last year.

I don't think athletes need to be paid, either. I think coaches and adminstrators should be unpaid, and sponsorships and all corporate affiliations should be banned. A kid majoring in media or communications could set up a camera to record games, and the local public access channel could air them.

What's more impressive, that goal, or giving up 3 to Crystal Palace inside of 3 minutes?
