Have we even seen a AAA shooter with a female lead? Tomb Raider has shooting elements but is at its heart not like the AAA shooters. The industry leadership has the ability to choose which projects to fund; they have so far chosen to fund very few original ideas.

Ay! ay! much of a Muchness

I think it's the idea of genuine sacrifice that is so moving

I think it's symptomatic of antiquated thinking on the part of video game publisher executives.

It really bugs me how worn out the gruff white male protagonist is in video games. How ridiculous would it be if every film with a budget over $10 million starred Bruce Willis or Someone Who Looks Like Bruce Willis doing Action Things to avenge a Great Loss or to survive in an Apocalyptic Dystopia?

It basically is, considering that it comes from the same developer.

I think it was a little heavy handed with the tropes. Every disaster movie trope is in that trailer.

Yes

He is actually (sort of) right, but it's buried in so much bullshit it's hard to see.

I agree with you.

I'm not sure how you think rankings work.

But our collective national dismay at the putatively poor math performance of American pupils is based on internationally administered standardized tests, and in particular the decline in American rankings over the years.

Yet Chinese students demolish American ones in international comparisons of math proficiency, and literally the only proposal I've ever heard for improving American math proficiency is by reducing the amount of rote memorization.

I understand your point. But the fact remains that radio transmissions from race engineers specifically instructing drivers that 1. temperatures are too high, and 2. the driver should make specific changes to their driving line to cool the car, are commonly heard during F1 broadcasts.

That is essentially the explanation Mercedes gave.

I don't agree.

Asian immigrants have definitely faced tremendous discrimination and oppression in the United States.

Should You Play This Game?

1/3 into the season, to have two mechanical DNFs to your only real rival's none must be frustrating for Lewis. And given the small sample size of an F1 season, there is no guarantee that Nico will see the balance of luck tip against him. Just ask Mark Webber.
