I remember when these were less than a 5 yo Corolla. Subsequently every “P” plater in my city snapped them up along with the first gen WRX, poorly modded them and then thrashed them into the ground. I wish I could find a nice clean one now that is still affordable.

Ha! Nope, but I am also Aussie.

Can confirm. Every damn time I see one at a light while I’m on my way to work on my commuter (SR500) they always pin it off the line like a F&F race. Well done genius, you beat a 40 year old bike with 1 cylinder and a little over a third of your capacity. You win all the points.

I like it. I’ve seen a few driving in the wild here in Australia and they seem like a nice comfy DD that blends in. If I was in the market for a nice comfy mid-size sedan that blends in I would definitely add this to the list. Unfortunately for 20k less money I can get a Skoda Octavia RS which has nearly the same

You actually did a good job of explaining that. Peacock feathers have a kind of naturally occurring diffraction grating.

We use vantablack for research. We are not that a-hole artist. Surrey Nanosystems will work with optical research people which is kinda the whole reason vantablack exists to begin with. We use it to coat internal parts of spectrometers to eliminate light contamination.

That’s not quite right. The manufacturers (Surrey Nanosystems) are happy to work with researchers for a price.

Vantablack is a super fragile coating rather than a paint. Under a microscope it looks prickly. If you wipe your finger across anything coated in it you’d likely get a matte black look and a ruined thing that used to be coated in vantablack.

Raleigh scattering is the effect. It happens with a lot of wavelengths

Didn’t watch the videos did ya. Definitely an FZ1 motor being run without any headers or exhaust.

or Italy’s other other manufacturer:

A picture of a kid. Perhaps his kid. Someone let this shitcicle shovel his pud into them and now he’s got spawn.

Shit... my sunglasses were still in the glove box.

There’s a whole lotta conversion kits on the market to put that V8 in and older Jag. Find one in good nic and proceed.

There was a Chris Harris video a while back where he fitted space savers to the rear of a C63 and drove around a wet track.

In the first 27 seconds of the video he explains that they are in Japan at Fuji Speedway.

I remember watching the targa live on telly when it happened. Sad day

hahaha yes! I do the elbows braced to the walls maneuver.

I bet the flight attendants wouldn’t even be mad. There would just be a round of applause.

Not entirely soaked. But after a long flight a hell of a lot of the 1m/sq floor won’t have a dry patch bigger than my feet. Fly multiple airlines, globally.
