Exactly. He would routinely jump in one of his cars for a 2000km drive on a week off work so he kept all of his cars ready to go. I think the E60 left him stranded a few times from surprise faults so he got sour on it. His E92 M3 is the canyon carver and the X5M is the long distance interstate cruiser. Track days are

It’s good that you’ve had good experience with the car. Maybe you are not using it the same way in the same conditions. Wasn’t really comparing E39 and X5M to the E60, he has always had several M cars in the garage that he uses for different things. BMW sends a truck to his house every 6 months to take them for

I dunno, I just remember a friend trading his E39 M5 for an E60 and the amount of times that car shat the bed after it ran up over 50,000kms. He swiftly traded it for an X5M and couldn’t have been happier. The other M cars from that era (that he still owns) are running strong and healthy.

If it was distributed on cellulite it would be gross and sticky. I think you meant celluloid.

I like your metric. Have a star.

That’ll cost an extra 2k every 200 miles

No worries. It does share similarities to rabbit but because the animal is so much bigger so are the cuts. Under cooked and it’s a little slimy but over cooked and it’s like old leather and rubber. I grew up eating and hunting roo and rabbits but now you can buy roo meat in every supermarket here. I’ve never tried

I haven’t seen many jumping wombats.

Technically yes but you wouldn’t gain anything. We typically use ‘roo meat and venison the same way. Good for marinated steaks or on skewers, I eat mine with a sauce made from plums, sugar, cayenne peppers and red onion.

We had a “Teabag” in our office too but that was for different reasons...

But office coffee is always stale old beans anyway. Don’t get me wrong, it serves a vital purpose but it’s never “good” coffee.

Sold in Dubai and in 5 years it will be sold by Sothebys at an inflated price with 100kms and a questionable maintenance record.

Driving my little hatchback through a nasty part of town at dusk on a Sunday night. Nothing is open except the drug dealers and illegal whore houses. My stereo is up loud but between tracks I hear a weird scraping noise so I pull into the street front car park of an abandoned warehouse.

I’d say a short history and only in built up areas. The high profile douchbaggery is a definite no-no though. Our road rules were very relaxed until cameras started replacing human police officers in the late 90's.

we have both, just not in a public place and not in the hands of idiots.

I think the penalty was for the repeated attempts to hide the crime rather than the crime itself. A team member trying to enter Parc Ferme after the cars have been deposited is like a member of the public trying to walk into a bank vault.

It’s not surprising. For less money I could have an BMW M3, M5, 640i, Lexus GSF, MB C63, E400, CLS400, Jag XF, or if I really had to scratch the Italian itch a Ghibli. The only press I’ve seen about the Giulia is 1: Very fast and fun to drive, 2: Will definitely break a lot.

When I was born (youngest of 3) our only family car was a Triumph 2500 sedan that broke down every week. My Dad would lovingly wash that car every Saturday morning right after he got it back from the mechanic. He traded it on a Honda Accord (the last one with pop up headlights) and a Toyota Landcruiser. Both of which

The “GT2 RS” on the door is a bit of a giveaway.

Nicely put. If an unbiased, knowledgeable third party were to assess the owners situation and the condition of the inventory and then rule on how likely it is the cars will return to running/ safe for storage condition versus how likely it is the cars will rot and crumble into the ground maybe there could be some kind
