About 13 years ago I managed to ride a Yamaha R6 to a ski resort. I rode very slowly and carefully but the semi slick tires and swathes of black ice made keeping both wheels in line a massive chore.
The upside being you can get a decent amount of power, with a manual box. Just ignore the falling apart interior. The Ford option can also be had with a turbo straight six.
It’s sad that in 25 years there probably won’t be any left. The build quality is scary bad on pretty much any Aussie built car with a Holden or a ford badge. A lot of Aussies end up junking half the car and replacing/ rebuilding them to be “better”.
