This is so true. Nobody makes an honest mistake smuggling that many pills hidden in a falsely marked box. Not surprising either. Prescription strength painkillers are America’s largest drug abuse problem. It just doesn’t get any attention because its a problem of the affluent who’d rather lobby their representatives…

The fact that there’s a youtube video to show people how to do this means that the overall design is not very good.

I had this happen to me at a GM test track event about 11 years ago. The doors are built backwards with the striker pins on the doors, and the latches inside of the door jam. There are no locks. Everything is a button to pop the latch, and when you “lock” the car, it just disables the button.

Damn.. GM strikes again. Poor guy. I’m really dissapointed that nobody saw him banging on the windows or kicking the windsheild and called for help sooner, but that’s life I guess. Rest in peace buddy.

You made the strawman argument that if people like manuals it’s because it makes them feel like exclusive club members. Unless driving your manual transmission car makes you feel that way, it seems like a strange assertion. I’d be fine if the manual/auto ratios on car sales were reversed—-I just enjoy driving them…
