Am I the only one bothered by Ava's willingness to kill Ellen May?

I work in a District Attorney's Office. I gots mad skills. (said in humor not in arrogance…I probably just got lucky)

I don't have a solid theory yet but there is only one reason I can think of for Arlo to cover for Drew for 30 years…Arlo is covering up something about Raylan's mother Frances. She did something, something bad. Something that would cause Raylan grief. Granted it does seem out of character for Arlo to defend her honor

Damn Shelby's got more secrets than Varys the spider

He served as a deputy for 20 years. Shelby wasn't some guy who blew into town and immediately ran for Sheriff. He's lived in Harlan county for 30 years and 20 of them were in law enforcement.

I watch it. I wouldn't say it's a great show or anything but it was not as bad as I was expecting it to be.

I think Raylan STILL likes Hunter more than Arlo. Honestly he wasn't enraged when he beat up Hunter…he was more pissed that Hunter escaped from the car than he was at Hunter for killing Arlo.

Village of the Damned blonde children…*shivers*

I preferred him as Holland Manners.

Shelby/Drew strikes me as somebody who yeah did some horrible things but part of his identity as Shelby was him doing the right thing as he saw it…he was trying to make the world a better place. That's why he became a cop…and he twisted the law to serve a greater good every chance he got.

*cough* Banshee

yes I actually know that…but naming schemes aren't always consistent.

Each were my favorite male characters on their respective shows.

Maybe it's just me but Xander was entitled to his bigotry against vampires. Angel and Spike had tried to kill him repeatedly. I don't know if I would be so forgiving of the guy who killed Jenny Calender. His best friend in the pilot episode was vamped. He has issues with vampires but he was right to have those issues.

I was totally on Xander's side. I never liked Angel and Buffy together. I loved her with Spike and enjoyed the Cordy/Angel stuff until Jasmine possessed Cordy, boned Conner and then gave birth to herself. But was back to loving them in that 1 episode in season 5.

@avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus Oh definately. Buffy became more self absorbed as her journey went on. She was downright unbearable in the final 2 seasons. Cordelia became less self absorbed and it was great watching her slowly grow into a good person with the same forceful attitude.

I thought he was the best character on Angel. The episode where he kidnapped Conner to save him from Angel and then gets his throat slashed for trusting Holtz is my favorite episode.

You weren't supposed to like Jesse in the beginning…I think people started to warm up to Jesse when he became the kinder one and Walter became more amoral.

I for the most part didn't like him…but my favorite moment of the entire series was the final scene between him and Garak in the finale…for some reason that scene really moved because here are these 2 guys who have a solid friendship they really enjoy and this is the last time they will probably ever see each other
