I thought it was progressive. Because in times past a black actress wouldn't have been given a part like that due to political correctness even though story wise it totally makes sense that a familiar would have a master.

as one of those naysayers I actually liked this episode. The focus on Ray and Adam helped as did the lack of focus on Jessa who I despise.
