I get your point. Well I been gaming since the early 90's I’m an 80's kid. I’m still holding on to the controller hotline miami 2 works well since the right track pad works as a wheel. I have trouble with other titles though.

I was playing Hotline Miami 2 today, was surprised how well that worked. I have to put more time in other games I still feel is unreliable.

The problem is the controller is not intuitive like the others in the market. My favorite is the ps4 which also features a track pad, the issue there is the official support. I like the steam controller and have tried playing with it many times but it never feels right even with custom templates or my own tweaks.
