You can buy plenty of things with bitcoin. Want a skyline gtr? well here you can use crypto as forms of payment.

it is used more as a store of value, the transaction fees make it hard for a daily currency. Which is why you have altcoins like Litecoin, which has much lower fees and faster transaction times. Which makes it perfect for day to day transactions.
