dammit, you called out my lazy apathy. patayta patahta.

just get a portable generator for your mac pro. will weigh about the same as the laptop you specced.

Just give me good specs and a power cord attachment method that doesn’t result in breaking something off the main board when the laptop bumps into it.

    you mean TELEMUNDO

As a small car lover and owner, the Countryman IS a small car. We concurrently had a 98 civic, 2001 miata, and the 2012 countryman. The civic was the longest.

When I make a cocktail at home on a weeknight, I plop a large (1") ice cube in it and swirl to stir. Because I’m already washing 6000 baby bottles and adding more shit to that aint gonna happen.

We usually order our kid an adult meal anyway because he actually gives a shit what he eats and doesn’t want whatever boring beige bullshit, that has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant’s actual menu, for a kid’s meal.

    but nobody wants an NC...

I’ve seen a few variations on miata engine swaps, but ultimately, it’s so much work that you might as well go all in and not bother with less than something monstrous. The other side of the coin is that most Miata owners are cheap bastards. They spend $2000 on a car and have already gone over their budget.

I don’t begrudge FM’s plan. They’re making money which means people are paying for their service. I can’t afford it, but it is awesome. If a V8 miata became a priority, I would do the swap myself. But it’s not practical, nor in my future.

I think you’re paying for being able to roll up on 95% of the cars on the road and leave them coughing on aerosolized P205 rubber while you sail off into the distance.

    good swearword riddance!

I don’t know how much a re-sole costs, but the $125 is for a recrafting, for which they completely disassemble the shoe and rebuild it around the last (the last is the wooden foot-shape on which it was originally fabricated). It’s basically a new shoe at that point, not just a re-sole. Resoling can be done at just

Picked one of these up from Bed Bath & Beyond (hello coupon!) to replace a tragic story of a Behmor Brazen that kept dying. So far it is doing very well and makes a great cup of coffee. The control interface and timer setup are stupid easy to use and it’s way less of a mess-maker than the Brazen (which had a dribbly

Wait’ll you discover recraftable shoes like Allen Edmonds and the like. Better still, wait’ll you discover that you can have them custom made in just about any style or color you want. And if you’re clever and patient, you can get all of the above for a pretty reasonable price. I had some custom made boots done for

My Nau wool patrol hoodie. It is a mid-atlantic 3 season jacket and it’s frigging amazing. it is thin and light but warm when I need warm. It’s a snow jacket I guess but it’s perfect for anything under 60 degrees F.

    haw haw well played.

    So the Jeep dealership then??

Someone just reccd this post so I will update:

I have recently discovered that I have to search reviews for those same types of terms (“I recieved”, “unbiased”, “discounted”) and when I find a significant proportion of them, I mentally de-rate the item to avoid falling for the artificial inflation of the stars. It’s really frustrating and probably my biggest gripe
