Just want to put in the part about how "calories in = calories out" is not really the case. Your body handles different foods differently and eating a 2000 calorie diet that is 100% sugar will certainly gain you more fat than eating 2000 calories of lean chicken breast and kale.

Steve, I think you misunderstood my comment. I get ratios, but the dumbness of the chart comes from saying "if you want to brew this many cups of coffee, use this much coffee and this much water" but for the second (connaiseur) chart, if you want to brew 10 cups of coffee, you only use 7-1/2 cups of water.
