I think you guys are reading too much out of this cartoon. The government owned agency may have the intention to put Anti-United States message in it, but either I am too dumb to realize or they did a crappy job. What I got out of these cartoon when I grew up was:

i think the store name is still using Apple's Chinese translate. Not sure if this is covered under copy right law or not since it is a direct translation. A lot of American store is using the Chinese sounds as the store name. But it does say it is an Apple reseller in Chinese.

errr. they are injecting ads in the feed, not in the sentence of your post. so in this case, each post is a container. the email is the container as well, and google is not injecting anything within your email content.

I think Giz should quit trying to stir things up on the web. It is a free service, if you are ok with gmail with ads displayed there then you should be ok with ads displayed in your wall.
