No one is “protecting the TD” there because the Vikings weren’t trying to score a TD. Everyone in the huddle is telling the WR to get out of bounds, not score a TD. It took of the biggest fuck ups by a safety in football for the play to end up how it did.

It took arguably the biggest fuck up in Safety history (according to people that play the position) for this to happen so its hard to question the play call.

Was only 2 deep, safety on each side, but I agree with you it was mostly the right play call. They weren’t playing to prevent a TD.

Two guys deep, one on each side. Its what is run 99% of the time on those plays. They also weren’t trying to prevent a TD, they were trying to prevent a 20 yard pass play and out of bounds. Big difference.

Secondly - WHO WORKS “9-to-5" jobs?! This is not a full work week! I hear this damn line from people, in songs, on the internet and it drives me nuts. People who say shit like this do not work real jobs, I’m convinced of it.

My real job in IT as a systems admin and web guy is 8-4. 3 if I take a really late lunch.

It’s just incredibly convenient that mentally disturbed people will leave their comment history public on the internet because then you know when it is worth responding and when you know you are dealing with a true nutter.

I think scholarships only being year to year is a big reason that hasn’t happened.

They have the best record in football. Best team is certainly debatable. Either way everyone has them in their top 3 at worst.

By itself it is weird and kinda useless but when comparing to other WR it helps. If two WR has similiar yardage total but one has a much higher yards per route, he is being utilized more and a bigger threat when on the field.

People keep bringing up Teddy’s 2015 stats, as if numbers put up an a much worse offense that was entirely designed to run Adrian Peterson are directly comparable to those put up this year.

Its counting every route you run. A way to measure how much a WR is used when they are on the field.

Led is an awful strong word. He was average at best. He was trending upwards but Teddy’s ability in the eyes of fans has grown more these past 2 years not playing than anyone I’ve ever seen.

I love how wasting 5 minutes arguing over something meaningless as you say is “fun” yet waiting 5 minutes to get the correct call is somehow ruining the game for you.

and I’d be willing to bet it’s a major reason viewership is down.
