While not arguing with your premise to get the flu shot, your assumption is that all the people who have been hospitalized or have died from the flu got the same variety they would have avoided had they gotten the shot.

Exactly. I entered in a salad I make myself daily, with my own lite dressing, and it estimates the salad as 500 calories. There's NO WAY the salad is more than a slice of pizza. My dressing is lemon juice and a little sugar!

I've definitely been eating less than 1800 calories a day, and I can't lose weight. MyFitnessPal wants me to eat 1200 a day, and I just can't sustain that.
