this kind of stuff is lame. I love seeing other games take systems from other games but in a new unique way. I feel having patents on gameplay mechanics/systems is just going to limit creativity. Imagine if Mario had the patent on platforming, doom had the patent on fps. These companies need to get over themselves.

Honestly having played and completed both of the Shadow games I think this won’t matter that much really because of a problem you can see in how those games play compared to every other game out there that avoids implementing it.

It won’t be a “found footage film.” So they’re going to take the only interesting and original aspect of the film and toss it in the garbage. Yeah that’ll work.
