God, when I was acting, I hated the “sassy Black” whatever description. It was constant. Apparently, no one has ever heard of a shyness, introversion, kookiness, nerdiness, or many other personality traits in Black women. Just “sassy,” “loud,” “takes no shit,” “doesn’t need a man,” etc.

I hate to be mean, but now that I got a good look at this picture, girlfriend is so much more attractive than this dude. What is she doing with him.

That was my first thought. Hell, my husband and I have been together longer than those two, but I have told him that if he became a trump supporter I would leave him (not that there was a question, but I do feel that strongly).

My general rule is that if a couple is always posting public statements about how much they love each other and how happy they are that they are just hiding some dark shit from us and probably from themselves as well.

What? We’re sad? Anna Farris can do better. Chris Pratt had one adorable role as Andy Dwyer, then when the big fame hit he word vomited his real, problematic thoughts about how it’s men’s “turn” to be objectified in film and about how there aren’t enough films that are about white hetero guys like him.

So in my “real life” I have seen a lot of couples separate, then get back together, then fight publicly, then get back together, then fight privately... ad nauseum. Not that it means much, but they all have posted lots of happy looking Instagram photos, etc., whenever they’re having a Together Moment.*

As a “curvy” chick (honestly, I like to just call myself a fat girl but people take such issue with that) I’m honestly turned off when a guy makes a big deal about being into curvy girls. I like all types of body types on a dude and I’m not making a point to fucking shout it from the rooftops.
