just use Backgrounder ...forget Apple.

awesome news — even less of a reason to be interested in iCloud now.

Google Music wins for me.

No — what you really mean is "Google steals Yelp's reviews".

I guess this will be useful, but I'll just stick with Yelp.

Here's an idea people on Windows XP — either 1.) upgrade to a modern operating system that isn't 10 years old OR 2.) stop whining when new things don't work on your system.

you lost me at no Google Reader support AND they charge $5 for it ... no chance at all.

OpenOffice, LibreOffice, and Google Docs are perfectly fine for lightweight things where you don't have much in the way of formatting. That being said, if you need to do things that are even remotely advanced then MS Office blows the competitors out of the water. Access, Outlook, and Excel are just VASTLY better and

@Titch: Windows 7? You have to change the playback device to HDMI.

@robert.carrasco: I agree — they really should update it to only need access to a specific subfolder. Until they do that there is no chance I'll try/use it.

the sad thing is that Tweetbot added all kinds of UI fluff simply because they wanted to be different — not because it actually makes anything more intuitive. I agree though ...everything just feels slightly slower than the official Twitter app.

the new TweekDeck is pretty great. I hope they still plan to release the new TweetDeck for iPad soon. I'd love to have a similar UI on the iPad.

Really? It doesn't fall short any where?

looks like a great app — thanks for the heads up. This is going to be handy.

Really nothing all that impressive — at least it'll be cheap.

@SavageRehab: you're right — appearance-wise Apple basically copied MobileNotifier exactly. In terms of functionality though LockInfo looks to be closer.

Readability is a better fit for the Safari Reader thing what Apple just ripped copied.

I like Picasa just because the Google Storage is so ridiculously cheap. The Picasa desktop software is pretty decent also for quick/basic image tweaks.

You guys are awesome — this app works pretty darn well (and free for the first 3 signing).

Yes, get over it. Use your own judgement and don't do anything illegal. You're a big boy.
