I have a theory about this, actually: maybe the ability that’s set to replace scatter arrow (rapid shot) is supposed to have an eight-second cooldown, and that part somehow made it into the game’s live code

I had a friend who had the same attitude as Dark Side’s friends. My situation was the same in that I was a bit of a sexual late-bloomer. I relented and actually ended up in a super toxic relationship with a controlling rageaholic that I wasn’t emotionally capable of resisting against.
I like the scene at the end where he kicks a guy out of the driver’s seat of a truck, then jumps in front of the truck and stops it with his Spider Strength. I mean, if you’re kicking the driver out ... you could just step on the brake pedal. You don’t ruin the front of the truck that way.
