While X-Men did come out first. I feel it was the Sam Raimi Spider-Man that really pushed us into the modern era of super hero movies. I would argue the success of Spider-Man influenced the popularity of X2.

My mistake, so your complaint boils down to the fact that the game is a third person shooter, and not more of an RPG with choice. That doesn’t mean it has some deeper political message. Do you also think that Nathan Drake is actually a crazed mass murderer?

This is such a nonsense article. I do agree that all art will reflect the personal views and beliefs of the people who made them, but to say that a game that has been in development for about 3 years accurately predicted what the political climate would be when it released is insane.

Honestly I wasn’t surprised by this. I feel like this usually happens where there big reveals are on another stage before their conference and then theirs is a let down because they gave their biggest moments away.

I agree, but I think it was intentional to get closer to the Bethesda model, and not show games that are 2+ years out. So I think we will see more new games that will be out next year.
