The difference is you can acquire the skins, mounts, etc other ways besides loot boxes, in Overwatch there really isn’t any other option unless you happen to have the gold for it which only drops from loot boxes....

The uprising event really ticketed me off. It was the first Tracer skin I really wanted and there was no practical way for me to insure I could get it before the event ended.

Not saying they shouldn’t be on youtube as well, but they should be easily accessible from within the game, or interwoven to some degree.

Sure they have lore outside of the games, but they at least contain some meat within the game itself. Overwatch basically has no lore within the game. You get snippets from character dialogue before matches, but if you never went outside the game would never understand character motivations.

I play on the console so I was talking from that perspective.

Being a multiplayer only game, players can obviously access the Internet and watch videos from outside the game.
