Didn’t they all get new stadiums, or massive chunks of money, when they moved teams/brought expansion back to those cities? Me thinks the NFL made some pretty shrewd long-term decisions about the viability...the cities on the other hand bent over and took what the NFL was dishing out, in whatever way they chose to…

Or more likely fans in those cities get stupid about losing teams and get on board with caving into NFL stadium demands.

Carr’s right, you know. I mean, if the fans really cared about the team, they wouldn’t have all moved, en masse, to another city in another state and left the team behind like they did. When an entire metro area population moves 550 miles south-southeast, just to get away from their NFL team, they’re not real fans.

I know NFL relocation is all about chasing new revenue streams and free public money from new stadiums, but it seems pretty weird to me that basically every city that’s lost an NFL team in the modern era has later either gotten an expansion team or an existing team to eventually move back there.
