I kept my old save but started a new one for this update. Got a friend to help move stuff from one guy to the other so I wasn’t so poor to start out. 

FYI, they still cost money but you can get suit upgrade slots off space stations now. Only get one per station, so each system you visit grab one if you need it. And with the way multiplayer is now, I loaded an old save and had a buddy hold stuff and transfer some to my new guy so he wasn’t dirt poor to start and made…

Go to a planet and see if you can recall your ship. You can have multiple ships and can call different ones that way, maybe the ship is still there but just not actively your ship right now. 

Look for a cave. Go in cave. Wait for meter to refill, continue. IF no cave and you have a terrain manipulator by then, use it to make hole in ground. 

I had my game set to not allow people to join last night and still had someone randomly join my game at one point. Wasn’t a big deal, just kicked them real quick when I got the message they joined. But they still joined somehow. 

Another tip I found yesterday - drop pods suck now. You have to repair them. First one I found needed three things fixed and cost a lot of resources and needed some weird ones I hadn’t found yet.

No. There’s like 3 or 4 cutscenes and then you can do missions to promote the club, which are pretty boring or sit around waiting on your warehouse people to make crates and stuff to sell. That’s pretty much it. And you can walk around the club dancing. 

Right? Did 5 promote missions before I got bored yesterday with the game. 3 were putting up posters. 1 was dropping flyers from a chopper, and the other one it gave me was I had to go steal a van, killing like 5 guys around it. Update seems real lame to me.

You have to deal with idiots, but the missions are real easy and kinda boring anyway. It’s like three little kind of story missions and then that’s it really. Then you let your club run I guess and make a little money off it, and you can do missions to promote it which are usually just driving around and putting up…

And wait for the tech guys to accrue stuff to sell. Good thing is it makes it easy for me to decide whether to play this or No Man’s Sky now.

Same. Thinking of switching my system back to 1080p too just cause its so choppy right now. And flying just outside the atmosphere of any planet looks really blurry right now with the clouds the way they are. Its playable in 4k, but nowhere near as smooth as it was.

Plus just to add to this, without them releasing the game as it was when they did, they wouldn’t have been able to do any of this. They made good use of what they made off the first two years of the game and used that money to make this stuff.
