A lot of GT Academy guys are avid autocrossers or people who started karting and ran out of money. The bottom line is the guys who are fastest at GT Academy are fast everywhere. A lot of those guys race iRacing and rFactor in their spare time. If you are fast in those, you will be fast in GT. What characterizes the GT

How is spooling up the engine a bit within the speed limit driving like an asshat?

You can redline without speeding...

That's pretty interesting. I always thought it was linked to the chances of an accident occurring, but I'm no actuary haha.

Haha I'm from Georgia. I came to my conclusion based on stories from friends and family.

I always thought New York held this title. They sure have the insurance premiums to back it up!

That's the kind of car that constantly reminds you that you're alive... by constantly trying to kill you. I like it.

This doesn't upset me. The GT-R is a technological powerhouse anyway. It needs to go hybrid to hold on to its title. I just hope they can add enough hybrid power to more than compensate for the weight.

Time to enter the world of PC sims my friend. I don't even use mine for Forza anymore. It's a brave new world and the physics on a lot of PC sims put Forza to shame anyway. The wheel is a more than adequate wheel for generations of PC sims to come.

I don't mean to be that guy, but as a sim racer with a Fanatec Racing wheel, iRacing, rFactor 1/2, Assetto Corsa and a few other PC sims put Forza (and GT's) physics to shame. For example, Forza does opposite lock force feedback all wrong with the wheel actually tightening under opposite lock rather than loosening as

I don't know if this really counts because it was done by Nissan's in house tuning (Nismo), but it's pretty weird that they would stuff GT-R capability into what is pretty much a lifted hatchback. It's pretty cool too.

Smart man. I've seen stars/football players blow a ton of money on a super car and get it repossessed when the money runs out. Although if I were in his position I would definitely put down 18k or so on a used S2K lol. Cheap fun is a drop in the bucket for this guy's funds!

Oh gosh. Look what you've started. Does this please you?

Teruhisa Inoue? Any relation to former F1 driver Taki Inoue?

That game looks good enough, but as a sim racer, it's all about the physics. I haven't gotten my hands on it with my wheel and pedal setup yet, but I heard the physics are very placeholder at this point in time. Hopefully, they work on the physics as much as they work on the graphics and sound. Until I feel some

I've gotten along without it fine in my Miata.

My rule has always been 450-500 hp and up before I consider a DCT. That's the point where I think a proper manual would become unwieldy. And even then it's a case by case basis kind of thing. For instance, I think the F-Type should come with a manual because it really fits the ethos of the car. The M5? That's a
