I truly wish I could believe even for an instant that this testimony would bring any kind of consequences down on trump for being a maniacal shithead, but I’ve fully lost hope in that ever happening.

Eh, unfortunately not everything clicks with everybody. I’ve hard passed on nearly every big blockbuster game that’s dropped in the past decade regardless of the lavish praise heaped upon them. Sometimes even ones that feel like they oughta be my shindig left me cold. No shame in not digging it.
Are you...arguing with me? I can’t tell because you also said that a judge would not reinstate his twitch account. I didn’t say anything about him getting money or anything, I just said he wouldn’t win if he took it to court. I certainly haven’t been involved in a lawsuit, but I also wasn’t trying to say anything…
“I have resolved my legal dispute with Twitch. No party admits to any wrongdoing.”
Interestingly, having played the demo and read the notes between stages and the ones you get from collecting the whatsits in the stages, I’m not certain this is even really the world of the original Final Fantasy.
It didn’t. I only learned about it a couple days in when I happened upon a comment in an article apparently cannibalized from the Australia arm of Kotaku. It’s probably not surprising once you think about it that the higher ups on the site didn’t want to advertise that their writers were on strike claiming they were…
They were on strike for most of the past week along with the writers from a bunch of the other sites in this conglomerate. Just came back today I think, which is why there’ve been so many articles today compared to the past few days.
Recently he misses like a week out of 2, 3, 4 ish, I don't pay close enough attention to know the actual stats. But anyone who's really griping about that should glance over at Hunter x Hunter and count their lucky stars. The dude works like crazy, let him have a fukken break now and then
Yeah, they honestly could have put a lot less effort in and just skipped out with a lot more money a lot quicker while still technically having fulfilled their requirements, but instead they gave us 3 full fledged campaigns with fresh story, mechanics, and stages. The amount of effort they put toward making each…
Well this is disappointing. I really enjoy a lot of the games Team17 makes but this sucks concrete donkey.
Okay but Chao Gardens? PLEASE?! I'M DESPERATE
Mechanically, yes. But I’m referring to flair. Sora bounces and bobs and floats and has personality. Sephiroth is the ultimate grimdark sexy man. Byleth is another Fire Emblem protagonist, whose amount of personality beyond their move loadout is interchangable with almost every other.
My response to Sora versus my response to Byleth made me aware that it’s not REALLY the fact that it’s another sword wielder that bothers me, it’s that so many of the sword wielders feel generic compared to one another. The Fire Emblem characters almost all feel a little samey gameplay wise, but besides that, they…
Trying literally everything you can is kind of a hallmark of desperation. She threw everything she had at him and in her moment of victory he shot her down effortlessly. She was reduced to pitifully whacking at his arm like a kid trying to attack an adult who’s pushing against their chest to keep them from getting…
I didn’t say I disagreed with the article, the first thing I said was that I was behind the bulk of it. We do see a good amount of character in how she handles combat, but I agree that in the quiet moments she could have had a bit more of that good good body language to flesh out her thought processes. The death scene…
Yeah, that whole sequence, and how actively she stops taking the fight seriously once she recognized him, tells a lot about how she views her own strength. Yeah, she’s strong, and she’s cool, but she’s also kinda arrogant. She knows she’s strong, and so she expects to win.
I can get behind the bulk of this article, but I’d like to hit the other side of the spectrum and say that Samus’ intro cutscene with Kraid gave me huge personality vibes without a single word said.
Arkanoid Playing Game
So uh, should we tell him?
For all the cool stuff that happens in all the arcs on One Piece, Enies Lobby is hands down my favorite. Most emotional, and also I feel like it had the highest stakes over its final fight. For all the times Luffy’s ended a fight beaten and battered, it never hit harder for me than at the end of that arc.
