Heh heh, the difference is that those rats can seriously fuck you up if you aren't paying attention, just like everything else in DS. The point is in the threat, not in the form.

I saw that bird go by overhead and I'm just sitting there...'Maybe it won't come back.'

Yeah, true, I had forgotten for a moment that it wasn't Capcom that pulled it. Seeing it from Nintendo is good, but if it had been Capcom pulling this it would be very not okay.

Putting Volnutt in there is just salt in the wound ;_;

I want it all to flash a couple times and disappear in a deeply fulfilling manner while cheerful music plays.

"So this is your slaughtering younglings phase?"

I am 80% certain that those two fields are unrelated. You can trust my statistics, I'm a cook.

no no, they just lost to them like 20 times and decided it was time to serious the fuck up. There's a move deleter right in the pokemon center area before the E4 fight.

They went to the move deleter in democracy mode and slowly and delicately removed each of the bad moves in their movesets like tumors.

They actually deliberately knocked off a few moves from their pokemon during the E4 run. It was going terribly in part because of their movesets, so they took some time in democracy to fix things so they stood a chance.

Internet tough guy reporting in!

Yeah, I'm aware of its current price, which is why I put the price in a range the way I did. Just wasn't thinking when I wrote that line. *shrug*

Looks fun, just not $12-$15 fun. I'll wait for a sale for this one.

But how will he mimic the fact that the sword gets longer every time Sephiroth appears in a new game?

Kinda missing his point there, he's not complaining about mashers, he's saying he misses the days when the masher was a buddy who was right next to him and could be appropriately clocked. I too miss the days of couch gaming, where slights could be appropriately addressed as only good friends knew how.

This. Why do you think they started offering things like this? To make it more appealing to join their services. This is the spirit of competition at work, competitors giving the consumer better service to bring them over from the other guys. This is a helluva leap right here, and I'm incredibly happy to see it

Agreed, left me smiling from start to finish.

My issue with it is in the lack of control. Even though they're gun-chucks and obscenely dangerous, he at least has more control over his weapons than she does when she's using it. The thing is 20 feet away when she fires it, there is no way for her to have any control over where that blade is going after that shot

frankly, they're still less dangerous than what Blake is packing. At least he keeps his guns close for control. Hers is at the end of a chain.

Favorite thing about the new footage? The camera is closer again. As much as I liked KH2, I hated how far away the camera was. It made everything feel less visceral to me. Can't wait to get my hands on this.
