One of the best things is that all that acceleration just feels so effortless. There’s no drama, no up/down shift, you just go. Getting back into my 435 is jarring waiting for it to decide to shift.
I doubt you have driven a model 3. My model 3 has no fit and finish issues. Has been trouble free motoring since day one. Best car I have ever purchased.
The instant acceleration is intoxicating. The fact that you can put your foot down at highway speeds and get instant response: no waiting for the engine speed to increase while transmission changes gears. It’s amazing.
Sticking a giant screen in the middle of the car is not minimalist design. The clutter is all still there, it’s just gathered into one flat rectangle that requires you to poke around looking for things.
Not really, the Model 3 interior is pretty good if you are not biased against modern minimalist design. The seats are one of the most comfortable, the audio system is pretty good and the open interior is refreshing.
The people that are the most displeased with Tesla are the people who don’t own them.
What kind of drugs are you on that you think a Giulia without the noise is better
Meanwhile, Tesla charging stations remain the most satisfying places to park your truck.
Status might be part of the equation but from the stuff I’ve read and from the people I’ve talked to that have driven Teslas, they never say anything about the badge on the hood or even the “green” aspects. It’s all about how quiet, fast and just plain good the car is.
Wow, you’re really anti-Telsa, huh? That’s fine and all, but the person gives their honest driving based opinion of it and you call them delusional and insinuate they must be on drugs to feel the way they do?
Careful now, there are folks here who haven’t driven, let alone owned one, who would like to take issue with your well informed, first hand opinion. I mean, you have to be stupid or a liar, right? ;)
Having driven several Tesla Models, they are extremely satisfying to drive. Excellent speed and handling.
The acceleration literally takes your breath away until you get used to it. But infrequent passengers will still lose their breath mid sentence if you push it. Low center of gravity with a thick steering wheel with plenty of road feel. Plushy heated leather seats, even the doors are soft to touch. I’m no audiophile…
I’m a car guy and wondered the same thing, so I did a long test drive in a Model 3 with the performance upgrade.
I’m not too surprised about the Model 3. I haven’t spoken to a single owner that hasn’t gushed all about how much they love theirs.

Just because it’s a common mistake doesn’t mean it’s not a mistake.
While you’re down here...
These days an Accent is put together as well as any Mercedes. Yes materials make a huge difference. If you are suggesting that the Mazda 3 and Tesla are even close in terms of their ride quality you have not driven the Model 3.
