This didn’t happen when the standard counter top in homes was something like Formica and you’d melt the hell out of it if you put a hot pan on it.  Now every house basically comes with a stone or stone like counter that is “heat resistant” so people get dumb.

Burger King has had Morningstar veggie burgers for years. But yeah A&W has the Beyond burger. I had one while in Toronto a couple months ago. Not impressed. I think Impossible burger is better. Wish they had that one at A&W.

2008 (My first) was totaled, but ran great while I had it (bought used in 2010 bought 2011 V next)
2012 (Wife’s first) burned an OBSCENE amount of oil. So much I technically never needed an oil change b/c I just kept adding oil. Traded in on 2016 Prius.

Flip side: I get female servers and bartenders calling me honey/sweety/darling etc all the time. How should I feel about that as a (middle aged, heterosexual) man? Cuz I’m ok with it. Even if it’s in the “you’re an idiot” “pat on the head” way of calling someone those names.
