Wonder what the holidays have in store for the PS2?

IMO, I think the price cut is a good idea. However, an even better idea would be to update the case of the console.

@PedroTsuba: Everytime I see your avatar, I lol.

@GrimCW: I guess its time to start believing then huh?

I'd want something like:

@lolomfgisuck: I love it. Except for, I'm pretty sure he's just talking about having the ability to play Blu-Ray discs...not switching the format of the actual console. And even if he wasn't, why wouldn't your BR 360 be able to play your regular non-BR games? My PS3 still plays my PS1 & PS2 games, one of which is a

@Kovitlac: Not true, prior to the price cut(s), it was definitely a dead heat. Remember how many months the PS3 outsold the 360 (in the US) before the price cut?

Awesome! Can't wait!

@dummydecoy: What's RROD? Rick Roll of Death?

@VergessenHeld: While the option is nice, I prefer physical copies of my games and movies. Music on the other hand is something I prefer only in the digital variety.

@TheToaster: I'm sure I've said this before, but I'll say it again. I'll never understand why people would criticize a sequel by saying that they don't understand it because they didn't play the previous installments. To me, that makes absolutely no sense. It would be like watching Return of the King without having

@PsycheE: The RWD IS250 (>90% of IS250s on the road) is garbage on the snow...thats why they have an AWD. The only way you MIGHT be able to get away with driving an RWD in the snow is if your car is equipped with a true (eg Mechanical and not Computerized) Limited Slip Differential.

Will this come in other colors? I might pick one up if it came in white so it matches my controller.

@TheFamous1: Are you trying to get me to purchase a Gold account or trying to get me to adopt that starving family of four from Africa? For 14 cents a day, I'm gonna opt for the latter.

@RockyRan: Both MS and Sony are benefitting from the 360 price cuts. However, as seems to be the case for Sony this generation, they seem to always be looking for long term results. Obviously, the 360 has seen MASSIVE sales from the recent price cut(s).
